Kumar Desai's well-rounded technical background includes many years in computer networking with a particular focus on internet technologies. Kumar has been a web programmer for 14 years and is proficient in many technical areas.

Born and raised in London, Kumar came to the United States 15 years ago to continue his studies. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: the focus of study being computer and cognitive sciences. Although his career has been chiefly within technology he has also worked in publishing, television, financial investment, and marketing.
